Chemuyil combines the worst of two worlds: it's close enough to the sea to have salt in the air and far enough inland to have very hard well water. Pools here suffer lime scaling on the inside and corrosion on the outside at the same time.
Budget is a real constraint in Chemuyil, and so the common mistake is buying the cheapest chemicals on the market. Low-grade chlorine comes with filler that doesn't dissolve and ends up settled on the floor or clogging the filter. It works out more expensive. Yes, and it's characteristic of this strip. Sitting between the sea and the well you get lime inside the system and salt corrosion outside. It's addressed on two fronts: hardness and saturation control for the scale, and equipment protection and rinsing for the corrosion. Treating only one of the two leaves the problem half solved.
