Región 9 sits in the transition between town and the developments, and there old polished-concrete pools coexist with new microcement finishes. Each finish demands different handling: microcement won't tolerate the concentrated acid that polished concrete takes without trouble.
Here we see new finishes ruined by the wrong treatment. Microcement or a chukum finish treated with acid as though it were tile loses its sealer and starts staining permanently. Before any strong treatment we identify the finish, and that only happens if someone inspects it on site.

Day to day yes, strong treatments no. Chukum and microcement are porous and sealed: the concentrated acid used to remove scale from tile lifts their sealer and leaves them staining permanently. On these finishes you work with preventive saturation control and gentle cleaning, never with direct acid.
Between 2 and 4 days in most cases, without draining it. Day one is shock and brushing, and the following days are continuous filtering while the water clears. If the finish is delicate we adapt the treatment so as not to damage it, even if it takes a day longer. We send you a progress photo each day.
In the Caribbean climate a weekly visit is the right cadence. The heat burns off chlorine and the jungle dirties the water fast; without weekly maintenance a pool turns green in a matter of days.
