Región 15 sits on the same limestone shelf as the rest of town, with very hard water. Lime here doesn't just clog the filter: it crystallizes on the pool walls and leaves a rough layer that scrapes your feet and no longer brushes off.
Small-building pools in Región 15 tend to have undersized equipment: a half-inch pump moving a volume that demands more. It circulates poorly, filters poorly, and the owner ends up over-dosing chemicals to compensate for what is really a mechanical problem.

It's crystallized lime. The town water is very hard, and if alkalinity and pH drift high, calcium precipitates and bonds to the surface. It's corrected by lowering alkalinity, adjusting the saturation balance and, if the layer has already hardened, with a controlled acid treatment. Brushing alone won't remove it.
It depends on volume and how many units use it. For a common pool of 20 to 30 m³ in a building of 4 to 8 apartments, weekly maintenance starts at $1,800 MXN a month with chemicals included. We give you the exact number from a photo on WhatsApp.
