Villa pools in this area are large relative to their equipment, because many were enlarged after construction without upgrading the pump. A 35 m³ basin with equipment sized for 20 m³ never completes its filtration cycle within the day.
The large group is the challenge. A villa hosting 8 people from Friday to Sunday puts a normal week's load into the water in 72 hours. Without service scheduled right after check-out, Monday morning the pool is cloudy and the next guest arrives to that.

It depends on your booking calendar, not on the week's calendar. For villas with group turnover we schedule the visit on check-out day, not an arbitrary fixed day. That way the pool recovers before the next arrival and no guest ever gets cloudy water on day one.
Most likely the equipment was left undersized. Pump and filter are calculated by volume: if you grew the basin without growing the equipment, the water no longer completes the required daily filtration cycles. We run the calculation and tell you whether more running hours will do or you genuinely need new equipment.
